General presentation

There are 62 Airbus 320s in Iberia´s fleet of 158 planes. These planes can hold 147-162 passengers. These planes are used for short and medium haul flights and have a range of 3500km.
A new policy (as from 2005) in Iberia Business Class is that the central seat will always remain empty in all flights to Europe, North Africa and the Near East on Airbus A-320 (and other planes – see individual pages for details) thus providing a higher degree of passenger comfort. Rows 1-14 will always be reserved for Business class if necessary.
There is a menu service available on short and medium haul flights described by Iberia as offering “good value for money” with fresh and healthy food. This service is not available on flights to Athens, Istambul, Tel Aviv, Cairo, Dakar Malabo, Moscow and Beirut due to the length of the flight. Kosher food is available on request at time of reservation or 24 hours before flight.
Trivia Tip: If you travel on one of Iberia´s Airbus 320, you might notice the name of the plane, as these planes are baptised after places of interest or natural parks. You might travel on the “Bilbao Guggenheim Museum” “Timanfaya”, “Sierra de Grazalema” or “Mar de Ontígola” for example!

ToLondon - London Heathrow (LHR)
As usual took ages to board this delays the plane taking off as the suitcase shuffle was played out because of luggage cost most people have a small suitcase but the airline does not provide enough overhead compartments to accommodate
Economy Iberia Express no room to move and I am a short person
Do not bother with a cup of tea or coffee as cup is so small for a price of 2.50 euros, food is ok but pricey stock up before you fly if doing flight in reverse go for a meal deal from the boots or wh smith
No entertainment so bring your own or a book
