Seat Map Air Canada Boeing B777 300ER (77W) International Layout 2

This airplane and business class layout is new and looks great at the first glance. The service, the food and inflight entertainment are excellent. However this layout is not optimal to my opinion. All seats have angle which doesn’t feel comfortable during take-off and landing or during turbulence. Further the angle makes it difficult to look out of the window. For the middle seats the angle makes it almost impossible to communicate with your neighbour. However, the biggest problem is the sleeping space. The table is too low making it hard to sleep on your side. The only optimal sleeping position is on your back.

This aircraft has crammed in as many seats as it could. Unfortunately, it is also used on their long haul routes such as Canada to Asia / Australia. The seats are narrow and there is no room for your knees. Other airlines use a 3-3-3 configuration. Air Canada uses a 3-4-3 configuration.

I was very pleased with my seat by the window. plenty of space for me, but I am only 5'4". the seats in this row are sectioned off so cannot spread out or lie down even if the other seats are empty.

It is actually a pretty nice flight to HK. That time, the plane was full! However, the aisles were really narrow. Overall, it was a pretty good flight on the 777-300ER.

Good leg room, close to the washroom, but there's a lot of traffic, due to being in the isle and near the washroom. Seat very narrow.
