Small cramped plane for such a long flight - 7+ hours. A couple of extra seat pitch inches would make all the difference. I object to paying extra (E+) for avoiding discomfort. Sound port didn't work, but that is minor in my view compared with having knees jammed in seat back.

Excellent lay-flat seat. When fully reclined, even I (at 6 foot 4 inches) can lay completely flat. Note - use the duvet cushion provided which gives more padding for the bed. Plenty of in-seat storage space, with 4 little compartments around the seat to store smaller items (shoes/small bag/headphones). IFE is good as well - wish UA would provide more music options like they used to before. This seat is nice as it sits in the back of the First cabin, angled towards the window seats away from the galley noise and light. Behind you is the quiet section of Business. Recommend 2C/2H if you want to sleep during the flight. Service on this flight was excellent with UA's senior crew. My FA was excellent and provided great service almost the entire 14 hour flight for which I was awake about 7 hours. The food was good as well, with Halal catered meals from Dubai. The mid-flight snacks were buffet style arranged at the galley. Quite a nice treat!

This is a good seat, but there isn't as much room as there appears to be in the seat map. The business class seats on the parition are further back than the map shows. I was not able to stretch my legs out as if I'd had another economy plus seat in front of me. On the other hand, even though I had a window seat, there was no problem at all getting past the other person in the row to the aisle.

Bulk head is roomy, space extends to under first class seats. Flight attendants were very personable. Plane is old and only shows one movie, did have Wifi for purchase. My family of three had A to C and it was average for roominess.

On the flight to Lima, I found my cabin to be a lot quieter then usual. I also found the cabin in economy/economy first unusually quiet. (Besides the food carts). Overall, I really enjoyed my flight to Lima, exept for the fact we had to change planes at Newark.

Great area to try and get some rest for a very long flight. We chose the seats due to my husband being an extremely broad shouldered man. He had extra shoulder room in seat B because there was no A seat. Those extra inches make a big difference. Yes, it is louder in the back of the plane, but we just plugged in our iPods, closed our eyes, and tried to forget about the long hours ahead. On the return flight, we upgraded to the Economy Plus seats in row 21. Nope, would have rather had rows 58-60 again. The gentleman behind us in the last row, 60, had room to recline his seat. Said he always chooses this row when on International flights.

This seat is about 3 inches shorter than the version on the 777-200 (ex-Continental). It was fine for a daytime jump across the Atlantic, but I found snoozing to be uncomfortable (I'm 6'4"). I was worried that I would get a lot of bumps being open to both aisles, but that did not seem to be a concern. The AVOD system is excellent and contains a large variety of films and TV shows. The food was very good, although the service was very perfunctory and my "thank yous" greeted with little more than a grunt from the male flight attendant.

No personal TV, but entertainment was OK. Seats didn't recline too far, which doesn't intrude do much on personal space. Good space between wall and seat to put my bag. Normally I get backache after a few hours, but nothing on this flight.

While close to toilets, there was no problem with people congregating. Shared tv screens on a 14 hour flight are so outdated and show how United cares little for it's customers! The apple cobbler (?) dessert was inedible raw dough topping off a generally poor dinner. Bring a book or your own DVD player and movies!

This seat has plenty of leg room. As the table and the TV set are stored in the arm, the seat width is slightly less than the standard seat. On the other hand, the neighbour doesn't "spill" over to your seat.

Although close to the lavatories, it's not by the doors as in some planes.

In my opinion, this and 28B (same position on the other side of the plane) are the best Economy class seats in this plane.
