KLM seat reviews

Seat great, monitor stopped working half way through flight. KLM placed lap held child and 2 other young children in business. Father of the group took every empty seat to get away and disturb the entire cabin while child yelled in seat in front of me. Poor move on KLMs part.

Pitch is nice in this economy comfort row. Rather silent cabin, no noise from the galley. IFE nice. Meal acceptable.
The main problem is the seat width : I have been bumped all the flight long by those walking up and down in the alley. My partner had a middle seat and was cramped between me and the 14F passenger.

Very nice Economy Comfort Class, completely private and seperated to normal Economy. Way up in the front, the flight was really smooth and silent. In-flight entertainment was old but ok. Very nice aircraft to fly with.

Con: there is a metallic box under the seat in front, it takes almost half the width of your legroom. I've noticed a similar box under "21D". 22B didn't have any box . I didn't check if all "A" and "D" seats have the box, or only some rows.
The entertainment system uses remote control (no touchscreen), is very user unfriendly. I found the choice of movies quite poor (the number of movies is Ok, but couldn't find an interesting one), and no news channel.

4A is a standard KLM business class seat but being a single seat it offers indeed a lot of space and privacy. Without the proximity of any toilets or gantries if also is a very quite area. Definately one of the better seats in the plane. The (new) KLM business seat itself is ok but not as good as many other airlines (Emirates/ Singapore, etc). Same applies for service, in general good but overall not as perfect as many others especially considering the KLM price level.

Was originally seated in 8K, but recline did not function properly. 8G has inward-facing seat and no window, but it was a night flight so not a big issue. Very comfortable seat, easy to use seating controls, power and earphone ports very accessible, and screen easy to use. Even galley nearby was not an issue, and no noise or disturbance. But hope to get outward-facing seat for day flight the next trip.

Used this seat both ways Jan/Feb 2018. Terrible choice stuck in the back. Reasonable on the outward flight as the a/c was 1/3 empty resulting in more space. AMS to SFO was dreadful with a full passenger load. Overall the KLM B 787 Dreamliner is a very expensive "Cattle Wagon" I've had over 40 yrs business and economy travel and can only surmise the travel experience is NOT GETTING BETTER! - ROLLS ROYCE style a/c with Ford Model T seats

Great aircraft when it comes to the flying experience only. Legroom and seat width in economy is however attrocious. A hen in a battery has more room. IFE ist great and service too.

I like 1-2-1 seating in business
On same type of aircraft Air France seats are more comfortable
