General presentation

As of December 2010, the Air France’s fleet operated 25 Boeing B 777-200ER aircrafts, with no additional ones expected to arrive in the near future. They were introduced in the 1980’s as the first wide-bodied craft able to fly long distances. They have the longest range of the Air France fleet, being endowed with powerful engines. They are used on routes to the Americas and Asia.
With a length of 63.7 m and a wingspan of 64.8 m, the Boeing B777-200ER is capable of a cruising speed of 560 mph/905 km/h. Its maximum range is 17,370 km (10,856 mi), while the maximum speed is 590 mph/950 km/h. The service ceiling of this aircraft is 43,100 ft (13,140 m).
Business/Première class passengers have noise-reducing headsets, a 10.4” interactive video screen featuring a selection of films and news broadcasts, a power outlet and individual telephone. The lie flat seats have a massage function and optical fibre reading lamp. Seats recline up to 131º. There are individual screens for Economy class passengers. Some people complain about noise from the Economy section. On some destinations, Tempo classes offer outlets for your laptop computer.
Appropriate food (including breakfast, snack, lunch or dinner) and drink (non-alcoholic and alcoholic) are offered.

Air France has good aircrafts, and some peolple love airfrance service, like me. But i have seen that in international flights when people only know how to speak english the flight attendants get a little impatient whith them. They have exelent service but they need to understand that not all people knows how to speak french.

I chose this seat because it was an aisle with just one another seat at the side. You can stretch your legs because right there the aisle widens a little bit. Another good thing is that you are very close to the back of the plane, which is being close to the largest bathroom and also to the flight attendants' office, where they leave snacks and drinks for the long haul flight.

El viaje fue muy bueno pq era un viaje de noche! Dormí casi todo el tiempo. Vi una película! Por cierto la selección de películas era impresionante. Los baños bastante más amplios de lo normal tambien!

This seat is slightly more spacious than seats behind this row. It has very good leg room too for comfort. Due to more space, there is absolutely no disturbance.

Acceptable seat, over the wings. As others have remarked, the 10 seats abreast design makes for very narrow seats. Rather uncomfortable for long intercontinental flights. Standard service.
