General presentation

As of December 2010, the Air France’s fleet operated 31 Boeing B 777-300ER aircrafts, with additional ones expected to arrive in the near future. They were introduced in the 1980’s as the first wide-bodied craft able to fly long distances. They have the longest range of the Air France fleet, being endowed with powerful engines. They are used on routes to the Americas and Asia. This variant comes in three layouts, this being one of them.
With a length of 73,9 m (242 ft) m and a wingspan of 64.8 m (212 ft), the Boeing B777-300ER is capable of a cruising speed of 560 mph/905 km/h. Its maximum range is 17,370 km (10,856 mi). The service ceiling of this aircraft is 43,100 ft (13,140 m).
Business/Première class passengers have noise-reducing headsets, a 10.4” interactive video screen featuring a selection of films and news broadcasts, a power outlet and individual telephone. The lie flat seats have a massage function and optical fiber reading lamp. Seats recline up to 131º. There are individual screens for Economy class passengers. Some people complain about noise from the Economy section. On some destinations, Tempo classes offer outlets for your laptop computer.
Appropriate food (including breakfast, snack, lunch or dinner) and drink (non-alcoholic and alcoholic) are offered.

When i firs go to Spain (beautifull), i flew in one of these Boeing 777 300, it was the best experience i have ever had in economy class. The entrenment system was exelent, movies, T.V. series and games, so i din't get borred during the flight. The seats were really comfortable so the jurney was smooth and easy, althought it was long. The entretainment system had a real big list of good movies to chose.

From Paris
To Hong Kong
Worst night in Eco I had for ages.
With a 3-4-3 configuration in a 777 (few airlines do this), the seats are very narrow (not the seat cushion, but the armrests).
So I had my shoulder touching the wall on one side, and my arm always hitting the arm of my neighbour on the other side. I was not able to sleep one minute (usually I sleep 6/7 hours during such flights).
To be avoided ligue the plague !

Seat 52A
From New York - John F Kennedy Intl (JFK)
To Paris - Charles De Gaulle (CDG)
It was the last row of seats and it was great! We travelled economy, the legroom was great, food and beverages OK (air france), entertainment system absolutely awsome-especially the camera underneath the cockpit. But I have to suggest more english films and tv series. Overall a great experience, if it weren't fot the constant (light) turbulences all through atlantic, it would be one of the greatest flights ever..

Seat 3G
From Paris
To Ho Chi Minh City - Tan Son Nhat International (SGN)
Excellent flight, perfectly on time, but service on board could have been better, as well as the food - not the expected standard of Air France. I did not care much for the entertainment available.

Good seat with space and straight access to aisle. Some vibrations felt in the seat when people are walking hard in the aisle.
