TAROM seat reviews

The seat pitch was decent, I am 180cm tall and I felt comfortable. There is no entertainment other than some screens that may be switched or on not depending on the cabin crew.

Nice legroom and seat width. New upholstery in the past year, if not new seats. Didn't recline my seat. The screen in front of 4A was hard to see; the central one seemed fine. Only flight map shown, which is more than enough for me. No PTVs. Hot meal, in small portion. Decent, polite, but not overly friendly crew; OK service, nothing special.

1 window missing: 4H, 5A, 5H (you can still see outside, but not really conveniently). No windows: 10A, 10H (exit row). Also, 23C and 24C as well as 28D-E-F don't exist, but 9B and 9G do.

I am not sure that this was the airplane because the wing started from seat no. 6. There is no window at no. 4 H, just in the front of it (between the toilet and the seat). 4A has the window.

Nice plane, enough space

I am 190 cm tall, so usually I chose aisle seats.
Row 3 in this plane (a Tarom Boeing 737-300 called Alba Iulia) had lots of legroom, probably comparable with emergency exit rows. This was unfortunately, the only pro.

The seat itself however, was definitely the worst I sat in any plane to date. The seat was very narrow and worst of all, had a recline shaped in such a way that it was impossible for me to sit in it without bending my shoulders and my spine. Any position I ended up sitting in created pressure in one way or another in my spine.
Of course, all the seats in the plane were similar (except the ones in business class)

So, if you're more than 180 cm tall and/or have a bad back, avoid this plane.

Very nice legroom.

Very beautiful bird. I was surprised to see how tiny the cabin appears to be.
The kosher menu was okay. More plentiful than the regular sandwich and snack they offered for lunch.

Seat 5 A/B - really to be avoided - next to the fans - unbelivable loud on take off - absolute NO-GO.
Flight attended need urgently to go to an english speaking training - completly unfriendly.

The legroom is excellent, although the recline is very poor: you have to struggle to push it down, and it only goes just a little bit. The service/food was very good, but attendants could be a little bit more joyful/smiley.

I must say that the legroom was excellent. Being 185cm having my knees pressed into the seat in front is something you get used to, but there was plenty of room to spare. Service was good too, good work TAROM.
