Monarch Airlines seat reviews

A330 in Premium seats 2a & 2b both ways - Good seats but when booking online, seat plan does not show "Bulkhead" in front of these seats - But still good legroom - Staff were V Good particularly on return trip
Meals OK for flight food - although only small cup for coffee - but did get a refill when I asked - return flight - full size cup good coffee
No video on-board - yet flight magazine states films and TV - did get the flight plan on screen on return video, But a film would have helped pass the time
Not used Monarch for a while because of poor seating even in extra legroom - but would use Monarch again on this experience

Overall this row of seats are not for the person who wants to see out of a window, as the nearest is the row behind. Although obstructive view of outside is the worst downside. I bought and paid the upgrade for extra leg room. I could stretch my legs fully out and still not touch the seats in front of me. 26 F is opposite a crew seat and any passenger on row 26 needs to be physically fit as the crew member may need help in an emergency. Overall a very pleasant trip.

much more leg room than easy jet or Ryanair or AA 757 man to NYC

O.k for three-hour flight. Very quiet cabin. No food but complementary beverages were a-okay.

this plane is dirty and falling apart as we were taking off part of the air conditioning covers fell off hanging from the roof until it was clipped back on the plane is so tight on width and leg room it is better for carrying cattle not people
choose ryanair for more comfort ???

I simply don't believe that the person making the last review was of normal build for someone 6ft1 tall. Only a waif like student of 16 years old could be 6ft1 tall and be comfortable in one of these seats. More likely still is that the 6ft1in 16 year old in question is actually the son of one of the current board directors of Monarch!!

I.m 6,1. Normal build. I found this seat and1 h. On the return journey Perfectably acceptable and would be happy to be seated there again.. old plane maybe butno problem with it or a great crew on it.do the flight regularly to Malaga and back with easy*** but had a very pleasant time with Monarch . Happy to tecoomed them anytime

Seats Could be a little wider. legroom was average and interior was ok. some light covers are yellowed and seats getting a bit unsprung. Still have the thin screens in but no entertainment. Outside looked neat with recent update and crew where friendly. Must say return aircraft not as good (a300). But Was cheapest airline to destination.

Well what a shame, Plane i must say For 20 odd years of age looked Clean on outside but inside is where it really shows its age. Seats are old fashioned narrow and hard. No sponge to them anymore. Seat trays loose and window surrounds loose and Aircon did not really seem to work well. Yellowed/Browned light covers. I love flying but after 4 hours your ready to get off. Think its time to retire the a300-600 As it also Stank of fuel on start up too. But the a330 Which i came on was more pleasant.
