Monarch Airlines seat reviews

Rows 26 to 37 have more legroom than from 10 to 25. I checked myself when I was moved from row 34 to 14 and then back again, and that is a remarkable difference. That seems odd because they are all economy, but for some reason there is more than 2 inches extra legroom on the back set of rows. I presume it's due to the position of the emergency exit, and there wasn't enough room to add another row of seats so they spread the rows evenly towards the back of the plane.

I'm a Monarch fan I must admit and fly with them at least three times per year. As usual the flight didn't disappoint. We choose to to pay for the extra legroom seats in the first six rows. The plane was one that Monarch had fitted new seats. These are lighter and roomier. They do not recline (hooray!) and they have a holder for a tablet in the seat back of the seat in front. Great idea. We never have the meals along with s lot of other people, but they do a good range of food on board. Service as always very pleasant and professional. The entertainment consists of an app that you can download onto phone/tablet and stream onboard. A paid got service though.

I was onboard Monarch Airlines flight ZB 568 on July 3rd 2015 and I was pleasantly surprised as the staff were friendly and in 2014 we flew from Leeds Bradford and had the same staff onboard. There was a delay. This was onboard G-ZBAD.

CORRECTION TO MY EARLIER REVIEW. THE RETURN FLIGHT WAS ON AN AIRBUS A320 ( NOT AN A300!!)

WE CHOSE SEATS 9A & 9B BEFORE FLYING TO LANZAROTE AND 10A AND 10B FOR THE RETURN FLIGHT ON THE ASSUMPTION THAT WE WOULD BE FLYING ON AN AIRBUS A321 ON BOTH JOURNEYS. AS EXPECTED WE HAD GENEROUS LEG AND TRAY ROOM ON THE OUTWARD JOURNEY BUT THE RETURN JOURNEY WAS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE AS THE PLANE WAS AN AIRBUS A300. MY HUSBAND HAD TO SIT SIDEWAYS TO ACCOMODATE HIS KNEES AS A RESULT OF WHICH MY KNEES AND SHOULDER WERE CRAMPED INTO THE WINDOW AREA FOR MOST OF THE JOURNEY. COULDN'T FEASABLY GET UP TO STRETCH OUR LEGS AS PASSENGER 10C WAS FAST ASLEEP. DIDN'T DARE TO RECLINE SEATS AS THIS WOULD HAVE IMPACTED ON THE PASSENGERS DIRECTLY BEHIND.MOST UNCOMFORTABLE JOURNEY FOR A VERY LONG TIME.

Great seats, well worth the extra cost for extra leg room. Five hour flight taken in complete comfort.

For a premium cabin just ok, not great, flight out better and return. Blanket and amenity pack basic. Food quite good. It is a low cost airline so wouldn't expect great things

Seat 29D E and F fine had little problem to be honest TV screen above so happy a little tight but generally happy overall with this flight and aircraft
