The Boeing B777-300 is a “stretched” version of the B777-200 and is divided into two classes. This high-capacity, highly efficient plane is used on regional routes from Hong Kong to destinations such as Bangkok, Seoul, Taipei and Japan. Cathay Pacific was the first company to acquire this model in May 1998. There are eleven of these twin-engined planes in the fleet. On the flight you will be attended by a cabin crew of 15.
Cathay Pacific Airlines are busy improving their on board facilities. One of the final aims is to provide all passengers with power ports and individual televisions. There are planes which currently have these facilities in all classes.
In Economy class the screens are inbuilt in the headrest in the seat in front and the power ports are in the base. Adjustable headrests also make the flight more comfortable.
First class passengers can enjoy the luxury of lie-flat seats with 10.4” individual screens and noise-reducing headsets. Business class passengers also have individual screens and on long-haul flights they have the extra comfort of longer pitch (60”) and adjustable lumbar support as well as individual reading lights.
