Malaysia Airlines seat reviews

Vliegen met Malaysia Airlines is altijd goed. Ruime plaatsen, voor mensen met lange benen heeft MA de ruimste plaatsen. Wij kiezen hier altijd voor als het kan. Zonder bijbetaling plaatsen reserveren. TOP.

The plane was 50 minutes late leaving but no announcement was made to that effect, the over the speaker announcements of order to board was not made until half the passengers had boarded. Boarding was slow and some passenger were getting annoyed.
Very few announcements during the flight and those in English were not always easy to understand. The cabin crew were efficient but did not smile. For a company in financial difficulties they need to lift their game or passenger will not be repeat customers.

I liked the flight, lovely crew ,fantastic service and food . All in all I really enjoyed the journey

Even thought the business class seat reclines to a low angle, that angle mens you slide down and feel a bit compressed at the foot end. I couldn't find any connection for charging my iPad which is pretty standard in business these days.

This aircraft is fitted with the new Malaysia Airlines regional business lie-flat seats. The seat reclines to a slope at about 160-170 degrees which isn't the most comfortable sleeping position as you tend to 'slide' down towards the footrest. Also the cushioning is very firm making it hard to sleep. A thin mattress (like they provide on Emirates business class) would help.

I think they really missed a trick here when you compare to the more comfortable 180-degree flat bed business class products like Qatar or Etihad.

On the positive side the service was very good with friendly, attentive crew who were always smiling and helpful. The food was good and the champagne and wine selection also very nice.

Row 5 has larger seat pitch due to the bulkhead position in front of it. This part of the plane is also quiet since it's located away from the engine and nobody hardly pass by the area during the flight (the separator curtain blocked the business and economy section throughout the flight).
No IFE onboard Malaysia Airlines B737-400 but they are in the process of retiring this aircraft type and upgrade into B737-800 with IFE offering.
Cabin crew service is flawless (who else can match the hospitality of 5 times winner of Best Cabin Crew). Catering was good too and MAS used meal box to serve domestic route; a handy pack to consume onboard as well as to bring out of the plane.

this is one of the best airlines ive ever been to. service is exelent. entretainment too. i only dont like the configuration of 252 i prefer 333
