Thomas Cook Airlines seat reviews

Boeing 757-300 G-JMAB. LGW to MAH. Seats 25A/B. Seats by the overwing emergency exit. Therefore Not suitable for children elderly or disabled. Plenty of leg room and I'm 6'2". The seats are all quite narrow and if your sat next to a heffalump then you may feel squeezed in. Not great seats for a view as you are right on top of the wing. James Martin breakfast was tiny but tasty.

Dreadful seat so cramped to get in and out I had to face inwards and hold the backs of my row of seats - not enough room to stand up. The holder on the drinks tray was so shallow as to be completely useless and the slightest turbulence upset what could be hot drinks. The tray failed to go flat as it was wedged onto my tummy and still slanted making eating from it impossible! Who on earth designs these things as with the correct hinges there was plenty of room to make the tray workable. No one can have tested this seating when it was purchased and ..... tHIS PLANE WAS BRAND NEW!

Old airplane. Reminds me of the early years of 2000. Seats are overused so it does not feel firm or comfortable any more. I guess I cannot expect more for what I paid which was OK. Food is just a snack pack. I advise you to take a book or some media stored in your phone or laptop, otherwise you will bore to death unless you wish to rest ( 9 hours flight time). There is no entertainment media system. This was a daytime flight, unlucky for me!!

We had pre-booked seats, but because of illness, we were kindly move on us. Was sandwiched between two sweaty men in larger size that was already inebriated when start.6 hours of torment. The place was narrow. Could not even have legs in a comfortable position.
Traveled regularly back. Never more this cow transport.

Nice plane! a little short on legspace! but okay, I´m currently 187cm. so most people might not the same problem, luckily I flew with my 2 small children, so I nicked some of their legspace! ;-)

To be honest I was dreading this flight being Thomas Cook Airlines, an old aircraft and no reclining seats. However, I must say that since Harriet Green has taken over as Group CEO the improvements to Thomas Cook as a whole are impressive. Previous TC flights taken can only be described as extremely miserable with the attitude of cabin staff leaving much to be desired. This flight, what a difference. The staff did appear to be a little older, oh dear should I have said that? but were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Each flight left a few minutes late, nothing to worry about, and landed either on time or early. The food was some of the best I have had on a flight. Seat 1G going out with a small amount of extra legroom, tray in armrest so width curtailed a little. Seat 31G on return with a greater amount of legroom and again tray in armrest. Seat 1G by far the best of the two. On this particular experience I look forward to my next TC flight - I just hope that it has not been a one-off!!

This plane seemed to be very old. The size of screens in the middle of aisle reminded me of screens in planes I used to fly in 80's.None of the seats are reclining , almost 5 hr flight was not comfy at all. Food seemed okay , nothing special .I wouldn't fly with Thomas cook if I had another choice . This was my second flight with them . On the first one we all been starving as a result of lack of the food provided on long haul flight .

I was prepared for a nice aircraft with a new layout but didn't happen due to maintenance needed on the aircraft we were meant to have. Leg room was okay, although a pillar was on the row. On the plus side it gave me two alternate views for filming the landing and takeoff. Since it was an older 767, the tv's were very low quality and were mounted on the ceiling of the aircraft... Not good but a pleasant flight over all!
