General

There are 91 A319s in US Airway’s fleet, which has a total of 384 planes in its mainline group. The A319 is a shorter version of the Airbus A320 family of aircraft, with which it shares a high degree of commonality, including identical cockpit configurations, maintenance requirements and pilot ratings. It has a total seating capacity of 120-124 passengers. The standard layout is 12 first class seats and 108 Economy class, but this can be changed to 12 First and 112 Economy.

All seats on A319, A320, A321 and A330 planes are equipped with laptop power ports. Adapters are necessary and can be found at most major electronic stores.

Audio and/or video entertainment is provided on select A319, A320, A321, A330, B757 and B767 planes. Headset may be purchased for $5 to listen to a choice of ten music channels and a selection of video programmes.

Seat 5F has a large metal box in the under seat storage area. If you have a large laptop bag (such as a roller laptop bag), you will not be able to fit it in this space. The middle and aisle seats have the right amount of room for this type of bag.

Too little leg room and the flight took too long to take off. Being clostophobic, I have a hard time sitting in small places and I get anxious, and do not enjoy my trip. I did request the exit seat, but they were taken and I was not going to pay the large fee for first class, especially since they couldn't guarantee I would actually get a good seat.

Seat was very comfortable to be expected for first class. I had the last row against the divider wall but the seat still managed to go back a few inches. No complaints here.

Not good, the person in 8 A was so large he should have purchased two (2) seats, because the person in 8 B center was practically leaning into my seat. I would not recommend any seat on this airline. I did request the exit seat, but I would have had to pay extra.
