1. What is the carry-on allowance?
Next to a personal item such as a coat, walking stick, camera, reasonable amount of reading material, etc., Saudi Arabian Airlines offers its passengers the following carry-on allowances:
- First and Business Classes:
- A bag or hand-bag allowance (the size of the piece not to exceed 115 cm)
- A documents briefcase (the size of the piece not to exceed 100 cm)
- The total weight of both items must not exceed 9 kg
- Guest Class:
- Hand bag (the size of the piece not to exceed 115 cm)
- The total weight of the luggage not to exceed 7 kg

2. What is the checked baggage allowance?
Saudi Arabian Airlines allows its passengers to check different amounts of baggage, depending on the class of travel and route. These are the current checked baggage allowances:
- First Class passengers: 40 kg
- Business Class passengers: 30 kg
- Guest Class passengers: 20 kg
- Passengers travelling to/from the United States of America: two pieces of baggage, with total dimensions of maximum 158 cm, and a maximum weight of 32 kg/70 lb per piece (this weight limit also applies to passengers on different routes)

3. What about oversized/overweight and excess luggage fees?
The value of the fees that apply to excess baggage is set according to the class of travel. Please contact the airline for details.
4. How does Saudi Arabian Airlines handle special items?
Saudi Arabian Airlines allows sport equipment and musical instruments as checked baggage if it is properly packed or inserted in special bags. The weight of such an item shall be counted as a part of free checked baggage allowance. Please call the airline for additional information.
