A British Airways 777 in the eight seat version in first class.
2A was the window seat. I was not troubled by the galley for first in front of seat 1A, nor the galley for business behind. the seats had sliding doors making each seat a private suite.
sitting the seat was wide enough, but converted into a bed I found it quite hard, and too narow, the mattress pad was not thick enough. Plenty of storage space, and a deep wide individual luggage compartment above, this easily took my wheel on bag and my brief case. The entertainment system provided the largest screen I have ever seen, but I found the controls a bit slow and fiddly. BA advertised free WiFi, this was a complete bust , it would engage for a few seconds and sometimes a whole minute before dropping out, I had hoped it would improve over land as we aproached Heathrow but no such luck. I was unable to send an email to my pick up, the plane was over two hours late, so my pick up kicked around Heathrow for an extra two hours.
The food was good as was the service, on trying to sleep, i found the cabin too bright, the "No Smoking"sign right above my head illuminated the bed brightly as did two cabin spotlights, pretty anoying.
Obviously I paid lots for the ticket, I felt paying that much for a two hours late flight with not much sleep was a waste of money. I would have felt better just paying the business class fare.
I have had better experiences on Air France 777's from Paris to SFO, wider , softer seats, better food.

Great seat! I was surprised that BA was now flying the 777-200 with the updated World Traveller Plus cabin on this route. The seat is excellent and very comfortable for sleeping, especially the window seats. The seat is about 3-4 inches wider than the old World Traveller Plus seats on the outdated 747 and 767. Plenty of legroom when seat in front of you is reclined. In seat entertainment is excellent! The interactive route map kept me busy pretty much the whole flight.

Comfy seat, nice and private so ideal for sleeping. As ever the foot stool system BA have in Business means you have to climb over people on the way out /in during the night when everyone is sleeping. The entertainment system (screen size mainly) is a little dated and not at the premium end unlike the ticket cost. Staff were super friendly as ever though.

We were in seats 26H and 26J. Excellent legroom probably the best in the whole aircraft. But not quite so good in 26K due to the emergency exit door.
Not bothered by the queue for the toilet, despite the aircraft being completely full. However there is no view out the aircraft at all due to the position to the window which is behind 26H

Good seat, not bothered by toilet at all. Food good and served first as pre-ordered on line (great idea BA). Lots of space to stow under window so great if travelling as a couple with K as I was. IFE very good, much better then LGW fleet which we recently flew. Service ok but not exceptional.

Good seat, didn't find the traffic to be that disturbing. The aircraft needs an over-haul as it is looking very 'worn', carpets are frayed, equipment not that reliable. To b e honest the majority of the BA 777 fleet out of Gatwick needs some updating. Other than that a very good flight.

Seat very comfortable. Good leg room even when person in front is reclined. Good IFE choice. Had updated PE cabin on this aircraft. Was just disappointed that this version does not have dedicated washrooms for the PE cabin meaning long queues after meals and before landing.
