Novair flying with babies

Do I need to reserve a seat for my baby?

To be accepted on Novair flights, newborns must be at least seven days old and perfectly healthy. Children aged under 2 years (infants) can sit on an adult’s lap during the flight, and therefore, there is no need to reserve a separate seat. An adult can travel with two infants; however, one of the babies must sit in a car seat that requires the booking of an extra seat. The maximum size of a car seat is 45 x 65 cm.

When flying with an infant, it is possible to use an in-flight cot (a bassinet that is usually attached to the bulkhead). The baby should weigh no more than 10 kg and must not be over 70 cm long. On board A321neo, the bassinets are placed at 1ABC and 2DEF. To assure the use of a bassinet during the flight, these seats can be reserved in advance.

What baggage can I take for my baby?

When traveling as an infant, your baby has a free baggage allowance of 10 kg of checked baggage (no hand baggage). Novair will transport one folding pushchair free of charge, also as checked baggage.

Novair provides no food for infants, so you must take in your hand baggage your baby’s food. The cabin crew will help with heating baby formula bottles and jars of baby food.
