While the first class offers cabin suites... and double beds if you combine two together, it's somehow claustrophobic. It offers privacy...yes... of course. Especially since the Business Class consists of 60 seats making Business Class cabins a little bit noisier, busier and less private than you'd expect. The economy class... well, there's the new USB port offered on every seat plus powerports. Also, upgraded entertainment services (which I experienced to be slow and unreliable, as it froze and needed a reset). The pitch is good, and the seat is decent in Economy class... the LCD screen is huge. There is no bar, no gym, no shower... like the promo videos.

Guys, seats D, E and F dont exist. They show these letters on the seat maps in Alitalia's schedules and even at the website but they dont exist. I fly in this aircraft all the time. The letters are J,K,L.

Check out another pic from the SUITES... Pretty nice... :-) These are 2 seats together and you can join them of course. Travelling with your partner will cost you a bit more than you´d expect...hehehe

Innovative design minimizes intrusion into your personal space even as the passenger in front reclines. While ergonomic styling of the seat further maximizes knee and legroom. An easily accessible new seatback-mounted handset, personal, non-intrusive reading light and in-seat power supply, are just some of the many intelligent touches designed with you in mind.

This seat has an emergency exit next to it providing plenty of legroom.

on Mar 2, 2008I am quoting someone else´s comment on a forum. This person is right about what he is saying: "The real exit rows in economy on the Airbus 340-600 (346) are the following: row 10, seats A, C, J, and L row 22, seats A, C, J, and L row 37, seats A, C, J, and L People will congregate in front of rows 10 and 37, due to proximity to the galleys and lavatories, but they have much more leg room than row 22 which is just an ordinary exit row (but still more leg room than normal rows)."
