Singapore Airlines is now providing passengers with in-flight wifi service. The in-flight wifi Singapore Airlines will be provided by OnAir. Passengers will be able to access in-flight wifi Singapore Airlines even while being at 35,000 feet. In the first instance, in-flight wifi will be installed on Singapore Airlines A380, A340-500 and B777-300ER. Moreover with the Boeing B777-300ER seat configuration, passengers would have the possibility to have more seat pitch while travelling through the aircraft. Thanks to in-flight wifi Singapore Airlines passengers will be able to surf through the net and continue with their work and also keep in touch with families and will also be able to send and receive SMS, make and receive voice calls on their smartphones and Blackberry phones. Singapore Airlines will later announce the date that in-flight will be launched and also about the rates. At last, with Singapore Airlines seat availability, passengers would have the possibility to have more seats onboard the aircraft.

In-flight wifi Alaska Airlines

In flight wifi Oman Air

The national airline of Oman, Oman Air has launched in flight wifi since 1st March 2010. Oman Air in flight wifi is available on the Airbus A330 of the carrier. Oman Air becomes the first airline in the globe to provide both in-flight wifi and in flight mobile services. Even while being in the skies, Oman Air passengers will still be able to surf through the internet thanks to in flight wifi. Oman Air will charge £19.86 ($29.95) for in flight wifi on laptops for 26 MB per flight whereas for web chat rate the carrier will charge a fare of £3.28 ($4.95) for unlimited access per flight. To recall, on 22nd November 2009 Oman Air introduced on its flights to London Heathrow from Muscat a three class configuration on its Airbus A330-300.In flight wifi forms part of the latest in flight entertainment by Oman Air.

Alaska Airlines in flight services

On 24th February 2010, Alaska Airlines proclaimed that it will offer in-flight wifi onboard of its flights. Alaska Airlines in-flight wifi is offered by Aircell’s Gogo® Inflight Internet. In-flight wifi will first be installed on a Boeing 737-800 of Alaska Airlines and both Aircell and the carrier will verify if it goes work and the Federal Aviation Administration will certify this. Alaska Airlines offers a minimum rate of £ 3.22 ($4.95) in order to access in-flight wifi.

Oman Air new in-flight service

Oman Air, the airline based in Muscat, Oman is now making available a new in-flight service to all its passengers.
