British Airways has been a name tantamount to professionalism, comfort and good service. These are perhaps some of the many reasons why British Airways are availed by many frequent fliers who prefer to choose it, even if another airline ticket is offered at comparatively lower price.
British Airways has kept its ticketing and checking services updated at par with the moving trend of lifestyle, where businesspersons and corporate board flight at short notices. Therefore, the next time you have booked your tickets online, you need not worry about the confirmation letter to reach by post to your address. All you need to confirm at the airline counter is your passport and the electronic display of your ticket is shown.
The security at boarding for British Airways is tight and enough care is taken to check the backpacks, carry-on luggage and the body, manually; even if there are the regular checking through the metal detector and x-ray screening. However, the passengers have now become sensible enough, not to bother the scrutiny as long as they understand that this is for their safety.
British Airways are also known for their punctual timings. Very rarely do you find a British Airways flight cancelled or late departures. And in any such case, the airline makes due apology for the same.
Since most of the British Airways flights are transatlantic, care is taken to offer comfortable seating arrangements in coach room or economy class also. There might not be enough legroom as you would want to have; however, they are spacious and more comfortable than many other airlines. Moreover, the airline has taken due care to address one of the most prevailing problem in most transatlantic flights – stiff necks or other passengers drooling on you shoulders. Special headrests are given in each seat, which helps in keeping your head upright if you want to sleep.
Catering to the entertainment of passengers, British Airway’s transatlantic flights have personal television for movies, recorded TV shows and the flight progress map, even for economy seats. The movies though not on-demand is however, played through out the flight and so if you miss out the climax, do not forget to catch it the next time. Comfort is given a priority as each seat comes with a blanket, pillow, a thin pair of socks for the cabin, eyemask, a toothbrush and toothpaste, and the earphones.
As no air travel is complete without a good meal, British Airways offer meals that are at par excellence among other airlines. In spite of not being gourmet food, the meals are highly appetizing, fresh, presentable and palatable too. Drinks and wine are also served free with the main course.
The cabin crew of British Airways is also one of the best. Not only are they presentable and modest, they are also a great multilingual cabin crew, very less seen on other airplanes. The in-flight attendants offer services, which are not only restricted to offering food and drinks; but also to ensure that the passengers are comfortable in their long transatlantic journey.

I do share completely the view in the article. I would have however to say that if BA has kept most of its services updated the same cannot be said for its Forst Class. Bravo for the New Business Class but minus for its First
