Configuration: 12/42/142 DescriptionThere are 9 A330s in the Swiss fleet of 69 planes, which have a total seating capacity of 196-230 passengers in a 3/2 class layout. The configuration shown here is the 3 class layout. These planes cruise at a speed of 880km/h, and have a range of 8500km. These aircraft are among the youngest in the entire fleet, with an average age of just 2¾ years. A330-223's twin Pratt & Whitney PW4168A engines represent state-of-the-art technology. Compared to its predecessor, the Airbus A310, the A330 burns one-third less fuel in terms of maximum transportable payload. Despite its greater weight, it is also considerably quieter than the A310, both inside and outside the cabin. moreFirst Class passengers can relax in a lie-flat seat and Business Class passengers in an electronically adjustable seat with a 55” pitch and both classes can choose from 9 video channels, 10 games or 16 audio channels on their AVOD system with a 10.4” screen. Laptop power ports and personal phones are available for communication needs though adapters are necessary. Economy class passengers also have AVOD on a 6.5” screen with 7 video channels, 16 audio and 10 games. Seats also have a personal telephone and you can even send a fax! closeThe Wall![]()
