The 757-300 has always been a wonderful plane to fly on ever since it started production in the early 2000s. Delta has phased out the cloth NWA interior and installed new leather seat covers, new carpeting, and overhead TVs below the overhead bins. If you are despertly wanting an upgrade, there are 20 seats in First class. This flight was in November of 2010.

Detailed review on Delta Airlines Boeing B757 300 by The 757 man
Flew MSP-SEA on 12/29/09. Selected this exit row seat at check-in. Legroom was pretty great, although I had to angle my legs to the left to fully stretch them. There is a flight attendant jumpseat is directly in front of 40D/E. I was pleasantly surprised that they showed a movie on the main screens throughout the cabin. I would try for 40B/C/D/E, unless you're a window person, then 15A would probably be a great choice.

I recently flew on a Delta (Northwest) 757-300 from MSP to MCO and found the experience rather pleasant. The flight was about 2 hours and 50 minutes and was very comfortable in first class. The seats thankfully had been resurfaced with Delta's signature blue leather so that made it all the better. Also, the IFE was used, even though it wasn't in-seat which was nice. The service was good, but as there was only one flight attendant working it for a full meal service, things ran a little slowly. Other than that, a very nice, new, and clean aircraft.
