The Airbus A340-300 is divided into two classes and is used on non-stop, long-haul flights from Hong Kong to Western Europe (Rome) or to the West coast of the USA (San Francisco). There are fifteen of these planes in the fleet but there are ten with this seating configuration. On the flight you will be attended by a cabin crew of 10.
Cathay Pacific Airlines are busy improving their on board facilities. One of the final aims is to provide all passengers with power ports and individual televisions. There are planes which currently have these facilities in all classes.
moreIn Economy class the screens are inbuilt in the headrest in the seat in front and the power ports are in the base. Adjustable headrests also make the flight more comfortable.
First class passengers can enjoy the luxury of lie-flat seats with 10.4” individual screens and noise-reducing headsets. Business class passengers also have individual screens and on long-haul flights they have the extra comfort of longer pitch (60”) and adjustable lumbar support as well as individual reading lights.
