I have flown in Emirates First, Business and Economy class. Emirates I believe is the better airline for international carriage, this may be biased on my part as I fly internationally all the time but I have never had a bad flight. I have always been looked after, they have always known my name and never had a problem with the entertainment side of things. Yes the screen freezes during the announcements but they are required to freeze it so that they know that all people on the flight have heard it. If you are going to get an Emirates flight between Dubai and Melbourne get the direct flight as it is generally the newer aircraft and has the more modern features. With First Class there is not a single fault with it.
