1. What are the transport methods for pets provided by VIM Airlines?

VIM Airlines accepts animals for carriage in the cabin or, if not suitable for travel in the cabin, as checked baggage, in the cargo hold of the aircraft.

2. Can I take my pet in the passenger cabin?

Pets such as small birds, cats, dogs and rabbits are accepted for carriage in the passenger cabin of all VIM Airlines flights, as long as their weight, together with their cage, does not exceed 5 kg.

3. How can I take my pet with me as checked baggage?

VIM Airlines allows carriage of pets weighing over 5 kg (together with their cage) only in the cargo section of the aircraft, as checked baggage (8 to 32 kg, combined weight of pet and cage) or as hand baggage (weight between 5 and 8 kg).

4. What are the kennel requirements?

VIM Airlines requires that animal containers be leak- and escape-proof, properly ventilated, providing enough room for the animal to stand and turn around, but without allowing any part of the animal to protrude outside of it. At last, the kennel should be made of metal, wood, or hard plastic/composite and contain absorbent material or litter.
