Philippine Airlines Baggage and Carry-on

What is Philippine Airlines’ policy with regard to carry-on baggage?

Each passenger traveling on a Philippine Airlines flight is allowed one piece of carry-on baggage. In order to fit in the overhead bin or under the passenger seat in front, it must comply with the following restrictions:

  • Maximum size (length+width+height) of 45 in (115 cm).
  • Maximum weight of 7 kg (15 lbs).

In addition to the one piece of carry-on baggage and to assistive devices that are carried free of charge for persons with disabilities, each passenger is allowed to carry on board a maximum of 2 of any the following items:

♦ Small handbag♦ Laptop♦ Overcoat, wrap or blanket♦ Reading material
♦ Purse♦ Pocket book♦ Small camera or binoculars

What is Philippine Airlines’ policy with regard to checked baggage?

Philippine Airlines introduced a new range of Branded Fares, where each fare brand is associated with a distinct free baggage allowance (FBA) based on either the Weight or Piece Concept, depending on specific routes. The FBA is valid only for the entire journey indicated on the ticket and may not necessarily apply to connecting flights. Philippine Airlines or other carriers may collect excess baggage fees if the free baggage allowance is lower on the connecting flights.
