1. What are the transport methods for pets provided by Monarch Airlines?

Monarch Airlines can only carry animals as checked baggage, in the hold of the aircraft.

2. Can I take my pet in the passenger cabin?

No pets are allowed in the passenger cabin. If you need to travel with a service animal, please call the airline.

3. How can I take my pet with me as checked baggage?

The carriage of ALL pets shall be conducted in accordance with the current 'Carriage of Animals' regulations, as published by IATA, and the Pet Passport Scheme requirements as required and published by DEFRA. Please call the airline for additional details.

4. Are there any other pet-related restrictions with Monarch Airlines?

- No pets are carried on Saturdays and Sundays.

- Pets can be carried from all Monarchs scheduled UK departure airports, but for the time being can only be returned via London Gatwick & Manchester.

- No animals are permitted in the passenger cabin or to be carried as excess luggage.
